The ‘Face of Peace’ painting from 1948 is one of Spanish artist Pablo Picasso’s most famous works. He originally made many similar sketches, all representing the dove of Peace. Later, it became a world symbol for Peace. He started drawing at the age of 13, and has completed over 20000 paintings in his lifetime.
The Open Art Space project aims to make art a part of people’s lives in Damascus, and the enable children and young people to interact with contemporary visual art and open up to other cultures, and to Peace. You can contact us here.
